Mobilising Kosovo’s Private Sector for the Green Transition

The project “Mobilising Kosovo’s Private Sector for the Green Transition” aims to empower and mobilise Kosovo’s private sector to contribute to the green transition and the development of a sustainable, low-carbon economy. Through this initiative, the Kosovo CSR Network supports businesses in strengthening awareness, building capacities, and advancing readiness for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and ESG integration.

The project strengthens private sector preparedness for decarbonisation through capacity-building, evidence-based studies, and the promotion of corporate leadership in sustainability. The project is funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, in cooperation with the Kosovo CSR Network.

EXPANDING CHOICES through family-friendly policies

The “Expanding Choices: Gender-Responsive Family Policies for the Private Sector in the Western Balkans” project is implemented in Kosovo by the Kosovo CSR Network under the United Nations Population Fund programme and funded by the Austrian Development Agency. The project aims to advance the adoption of gender-responsive and family-friendly workplace policies within the private sector, contributing to improved employee well-being, gender equality, and inclusive economic participation.

Kosovo, the Kosovo CSR Network works closely with private sector companies to operationalise the Family-Friendly Workplace Model and translate policy commitments into measurable action. Through technical assistance, policy review and development, capacity-building workshops, peer learning, and structured engagement with champion companies, the project strengthens institutional readiness to integrate equality-driven and socially responsible workplace standards.
Workplace Equality: Women Empowerment Project

Workplace Equality: Women Empowerment Project

The Workplace Equality: Women Empowerment Project aims to advance gender equality and empower women in Kosovo’s private sector by promoting inclusive work environments. The project engages Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) signatory companies to conduct gender gap assessments, develop Gender Equality Action Plans, and implement capacity-building activities.

Through awareness campaigns, knowledge-sharing events, and expansion of the WEPs network, the project contributes to building a more equitable workforce and increasing women’s participation and opportunities in the labor market.
Boosting gender diversity in the Boardroom

Boosting gender diversity in the Boardroom

The “Boosting Gender Diversity in the Boardroom” project aims to strengthen women’s representation and influence in corporate boards and management structures in Kosovo’s private sector. The project addresses gender disparities through one-on-one mentoring by high-profile women leaders, transformational leadership training, and dedicated networking events.

Through these activities, the project supports women’s leadership development and promotes more inclusive and equitable corporate governance and workplace environments.
Kosovo Generation Unlimited

Kosovo Generation Unlimited

The “Kosovo Generation Unlimited” project was implemented by the Kosovo CSR Network and supported by the UNICEF Programme in Kosovo and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency from 2020 until January 2025. The project aimed to advance a multi-stakeholder coalition in Kosovo that develops a shared agenda for transforming the labor market.

The project contributes to creating opportunities to address unmet needs of young people in education, skills development, and improving their access to the labor market, by fostering collaboration between the private sector, public institutions, and development partners.

Fostering Sustainability through Circular Economy and CSR

Kosovo CSR Network implements the project “Fostering Sustainability through Circular Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility.” The project is supported by GIZ Kosova as part of the “Sustainable Municipal Services” programme, which is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The project aims to promote circular economy practices and corporate social responsibility by supporting businesses and institutions in adopting sustainable models that contribute to environmental protection and long-term economic development.
Mentorship IV Youth

Mentorship IV Youth

The “Mentorship Scheme” project is implemented by the Kosovo CSR Network and supported by the UNICEF Programme in Kosovo and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The project aims to contribute to the empowerment and professional development of young people by strengthening their capacities and increasing their opportunities for active participation in the labor market, as well as in policymaking and decision-making processes.

Through the engagement of mentors from the private sector and young professionals, the project provides practical support, professional guidance, and skills development, helping young people better prepare for career challenges and successfully integrate into professional life.
The European Pact4Youth

The European Pact4Youth

The European Pact4Youth is a joint commitment by businesses and leaders of the European Union to support youth employability and inclusion. Initiated by CSR Europe, the Pact brings together representatives from the business sector, education, and youth, as well as European institutions, both in EU Member States and in the Republic of Kosovo.

The Pact aims to foster collaboration among businesses, social partners, education and training providers, youth organizations, public and private employment services, teachers, trainers, students, parents, and other key stakeholders. Through this collaborative approach, the Pact encourages the development and strengthening of partnerships that enhance skills, increase employment opportunities, and promote the active inclusion of young people in the labor market and society.
