Kosovo CSR Network 2023 General Assembly
Strengthening Partnership with UNICEF
Kosovo CSR Network held its 2023 Annual General Assembly, where members reviewed the achievements and challenges of 2022, examined the plans and objectives for 2023, and adopted important decisions regarding the Network’s strategic direction and procedural matters.
Members approved the 2022 Activity Report and Financial Report, as well as the 2023 Annual Plan and Budget. 📝
The Board of Directors was strengthened with two new members: Ms. Arbëresha Tuhina from Baker Tilly Kosovo and Ms. Donika Ahmeti from Deloitte Kosovo, joining current Board members from Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo, Sharrcem, Meridian Express, Floil, and American School of Kosova. 👩💻👨💻
The Chair of the Board emphasized the Network’s key role in advancing corporate social responsibility practices and addressing global sustainability developments.
Executive Director Ms. Zana Bajrami-Rama highlighted the importance of ESG criteria for member businesses:
“At a time when the world faces significant challenges, raising awareness about the impact of business activities on the environment and society, as well as the importance of responsible governance, is essential. ESG criteria are factors our member companies actively identify, assess, and address.”
The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Nona Zicherman, Head of the UNICEF Office in Kosovo, who spoke about the long-standing partnership between UNICEF Kosovo Programme and Kosovo CSR Network, including the implementation of the Kosovo Generation Unlimited (#KGenU) initiative.
“Today is the right moment to reflect and celebrate our partnership in empowering the new generation in Kosovo through KGenU. This engagement between UNICEF and Kosovo CSR Network is more than a project — our joint efforts have created the first public-private partnership for youth in Kosovo,” Ms. Zicherman stated.
The Assembly also presented the Network’s strong results in promoting CSR and sustainability, as well as the positive impact achieved through both individual member initiatives and collective action as a business network.
