Internship Opportunities for Youth in Mitrovica through K-GenU
K-GenU organized information sessions for students of the secondary schools “Frang Bardhi”, “Xheladin Deda” and “Hasan Prishtina” in Mitrovica, introducing three-month paid internship opportunities for young people aged 16–24.
The sessions focused on:
• Engaging young people in paid internships
• Advancing their professional skills
• Encouraging their contribution in their respective fields of study and interest
• Strengthening the local labor market
• Creating opportunities to build personal success stories
Students were also informed about the application procedure and the recruitment process, gaining practical guidance on how to become part of the programme.
The sessions were accompanied by active discussions and positive engagement from students, reflecting strong interest in professional development opportunities.
K-GenU will continue organizing information sessions in other municipalities to ensure that more young people across Kosovo can benefit from these opportunities.
