“Coca-Cola Supports Youth” Launches Second Phase of Implementation
The Youth Empowerment Program “Coca-Cola Supports Youth,” one of the largest programs of its kind in Kosovo, has launched the second phase of its implementation. The program aims to train 300 young people for the labor market and self-employment.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop essential skills such as time and project management, giving and receiving feedback, effectively communicating priorities and achievements, business communication, and business ethics.
The program’s motto, “Learn, Implement, Act,” reflects its practical approach. Results from the first phase, implemented during April and May, were encouraging, with more than half of the participants achieving concrete outcomes, including internships or employment. Representatives of Coca-Cola HBC Kosova expressed confidence that this success will continue during the second phase.
Trainers Ms. Shenaj Shala and Mr. Fatos Axhemi explained that young participants will enhance both professional and life skills, preparing them for job interviews, business communication, and overall readiness for employment or self-employment.
The program targets young people aged 18–30. One participant, Dhurata Dani, expressed optimism about gaining valuable knowledge to support her future career, highlighting the motivation and practical guidance provided during the training.
The “Coca-Cola Supports Youth” Program is supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, the American Chamber of Commerce, ICK, Rrjeti CSR Kosova, and Venture UP.
