Call for Youth Empowerment and Cross-Sectoral Partnership
On October 27, during the European Sustainable Development Goals Summit, Kosovo CSR Network organized a roundtable focused on youth empowerment and building sustainable partnerships.

The panel featured Ms. Vlora Dumoshi, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport; Mr. Murat Sahin, Head of UNICEF Programme in Kosovo; Mr. Agon Gashi, CEO of Meridian Express; and Ms. Linda Tahiri, Executive Director of Kosovo CSR Network.

Minister Dumoshi expressed strong support for the “Kosovo Generation Unlimited” project, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in creating an inclusive future for young people in Kosovo.

Mr. Murat Sahin highlighted the necessity of cross-sectoral partnerships between government institutions, educational bodies, the private sector, and civil society to provide concrete solutions for youth, including those with disabilities. He underlined the importance of internships and voluntary mentorship in developing soft skills and communication competencies.

Ms. Linda Tahiri stressed that the roundtable aimed to create a partnership framework to strengthen collaboration toward achieving the 2030 Agenda. She emphasized the critical role companies play in empowering and educating youth through corporate social responsibility.

Mr. Agon Gashi noted that youth education remains a strategic priority for Meridian Express and that cross-sector cooperation is essential to prepare young people for the labor market and responsible citizenship.

The roundtable reaffirmed the need for structured collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, civil society, and donors to turn the Sustainable Development Goals into tangible results.
